I started playing football with the Greenwich Rams in 1983. I then moved on to the Ilford Blackhawks in 1984 which were one of the first British teams to play in Europe. I returned to the Greenwich Rams in 1985. While at the Rams I was invited to play for Brighton B52’s. We played San Francisco State College at Withdean Stadium.

I returned to play for the Rams for a further two seasons until I joined the Ashton Oilers in 1986 where we won the Division 1 Bud Bowl in 87. I then played for:

Chelmsford Cherokees: 1989-1991
London Ravens: 1991-1992
London Thunder: 1992-1993 as Player/Coach

In 1993 I participated in the forming of Redbridge Fire who won the Division 1 BAFA Championship in 1997. My position with them was Offensive Lineman and Defensive Coach.

We later merged with Basildon in 1999 and became the Essex Spartans where we reached Semi Finals in 2002. My position held with them was again, Defensive Player Coach.

I then retired in 2003.
